Neighborhood Transportation Demand Management Outreach Project

One neighborhood area will be selected for implementation of effective and innovative strategies to reduce drive-alone trips. Pierce County would like for the selected consultant firm to utilize available datasets to propose a target area. The community needs of the selected target area, along with the current transportation infrastructure will advise the strategies to be deployed. The firm will recommend and deploy a suite of strategies. The strategies will be implemented and paid for by the firm with minimal staffing support from Pierce County. The selected firm is expected to review the strategies at mid-deployment to assess whether the project is on track and adjust the strategies to improve project outcomes.
