(1) Vendor needs to provide emergency debris management and monitoring related accounting services to the government authority located in Prince William, VA.• Provide emergency Debris Management Services, Debris Monitoring Services, and related accounting services required during debris–generating emergencies.• Provide emergency response to remove and lawfully dispose of disaster–generated debris from public property, public rights–of way, and to setup and operate Debris Management Sites (DMS)• The Contractor shall efficiently remove large volumes of disaster–generated debris from a large geographical area, within the required timeframes, without unnecessary expense, and shall lawfully dispose of all debris• The Contractor must be capable of assembling, directing, and managing a work force that can complete the removal of approximately 1,250,000 cubic yards of debris• Debris Management Plan includes considerations for removing and processing the volumes and types of debris expected to be generated by a major disaster such as a hurricane, winter event, or any other natural and/or man–made disaster• Debris disposal procedures are also included within the plan. The planning approach is formulated in part, on the concept of strategic pre–positioning of plans and resources necessary for timely, coordinated recovery operations, including removal of debris• Loading and hauling debris from public rights–of–way and public property to “DMS” sites, or an authorized disposal facility, and dumping.• Performing debris by–product recycling programs, as negotiated and approved by the County.• Hauling non–recycled debris and debris reduction by–products to an authorized disposal facility.• Providing traffic control during debris loading operations on public rights–of–way(2) The contract period will be for one year.
