NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA NOTICE INVITING SEALED BID FOR THE Main Street and Old Town Improvement Projects (Federal Aid Projects: STBG, CMAQ, and CDBG) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TUSTIN , as AGENCY, invites sealed bids for the above stated project and will receive bids for construction, materials, supplies, equipment, and/or services set forth herein, subject to all conditions outlined in the Bid Package. Scope of Work: The work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials and incidentals for: Main Street Improvement Project (STBG and CMAQ Funded): Located on Main Street between Prospect Avenue and Newport Avenue , work includes: Reducing curb-to-curb width to approx. 56 feet Widening sidewalks on both sides Relocating the library parking lot driveway to align with Tustin Plaza driveway Constructing a new driveway to the public parking lot at 235 E. Main Street Installing an 8-foot-wide landscaped median Converting on-street parking to angled parking Installing an in-pavement lighted crosswalk at the easterly library driveway Installing a gateway sign spanning Main Street Installing electrical receptacles at tree wells and circuits for string lights Adding Class II bike lanes, street trees, furniture, and lighting Modifying traffic signals and installing radar detection at Main Street & Newport Avenue Old Town Improvement Project (CDBG Funded): Located on El Camino Real between Sixth Street and First Street , and Main Street from El Camino Real to C Street , work includes: Roadway reconstruction and paving Installation of new sidewalks, pedestrian concrete areas, curbs, gutters, and driveways Drainage improvements and utility adjustments Landscaping, irrigation, and lighting Traffic signal improvements and miscellaneous items Surface water, sediment, erosion, dust, and noise control Coordination with adjacent businesses, schools, and utilities Project Schedule: 160 Working Days Engineer’s Estimate: $12.3 million to $12.4 million
