South Meadows Multi-Use Recreational Trail Phase V

Description
Goodwin University is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a public access trail for recreation within the South Meadows located along the east side of the Connecticut River in Wethersfield. The proposed trail will be approximately 1,620 feet in length and 10 feet in width with 2-foot shoulders. The trail will be constructed with bituminous concrete pavement and has been designed to meet ADA accessible requirements. The project is funded in part by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Recreational Trails Grant Program. Bidders must comply with all applicable State of Connecticut contracting requirements and grant conditions. This contract is subject to State contract compliance requirements, including spending allocation goals (25% SBE and 6.25% M/W/DisBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO.
