Notice is hereby given that the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for Demolition of existing single-family dwelling and construction of new single-family dwelling per attached plans and written specifications. Labor, overhead, permits, insurance, and profit must be included into each itemized price and not listed as a separate itemized price or listed under “miscellaneous.” All work performed must be inspected (rough and final) and conform to County Ordinances, State Laws, and Florida Building Code. Escambia County will pay for recording of Notice of Commencement in public records. Energy Sheets will also be provided to the awarded contractor by the County Neighborhood Enterprise Division (NED) for pulling permits. The Homeowner is responsible for the removal of all belongings/furnishings from the designated work areas prior to the start date. A Notice to Proceed will be issued once the homeowner has vacated the property. The Contractor is not responsible for removal of Homeowner’s trash and/or discarded belongings or furnishings. Items left within the unit become the property of the Contractor.
