The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has secured financing from the World Bank for the Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (BWSPIP) Component -A. The project aims to increase access to water for productive use, improve efficiency of water use and improve water supply service delivery in selected locations of Balochistan. Some of the specific interventions are Productivity enhancement through flood management of Kachhi plains by streamlining floodwater allocations across the three river basins of Nari, Talli and Lehri for spate irrigation across the presently gravity-fed farming regime. Project Director BWSPIP Component A now invites quotations from suppliers for the supply of Purchase and Supply of IT Equipment’s and Accessories for the PIU-Component-A of BWSPIP at Quetta as per the required specifications/requirements mentioned in Section III. You must quote for all the items under each item of this Invitation. ‘ Procurement will be conducted through Shopping Method using a Request for Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s in the WB Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Procurement in Investment Project Financing, Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services – Fifth Edition, September 2023, and is open to all interested dealers / suppliers as defined in the Procurement Regulations. The evaluation and award of contract will be on the basis of Price quotations will be evaluated for all the requirements together and Contract will be awarded to the firm offering the lowest evaluated total cost. A complete set of Request for Quotation (RFQ) in English may be downloaded free of cost from Project website (www.biwrmdp.org.pk). Your quotation(s) must be marked “Purchase and Supply of IT Equipment’s and Accessories for the PIU-Component-A of BWSPIP at Quetta” and addressed to: Project Director, PIU BWSPIP, (Component-A), House No. 117/41-A1, Jinnah Town Samungli Road Quetta. Quotations shall be in the prescribed format. The deadline for receipt of your quotation(s) by the Purchaser at the address indicated in Paragraph 4 is 11th August, 2026 (11:30 AM) . Taxes will be deducted as per Government of Pakistan rules. Offeror are required to give their best and final prices as no negotiation are expected. Offers determined to be substantially responsive to the technical specifications will be evaluated by comparison of their prices, in addition to the eligibility and qualification requirements. The prices should be quoted in Pak Rupees and should be inclusive of all charges and admissible taxes The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities of supplies by 15%. Your quotation(s) should be valid for a period of 40 days from the date for receipt of quotation(s) indicated in Paragraph 6 above.
