Design Services for NCRWTP, SCRWTP and Carica Pump Station Generator Replacement

As requested by the Public Utilities Division (hereinafter, the “Division or Department”), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, “County”) has issued this Request for Professional Services (hereinafter, “RPS”) with the intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified Proposers in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated herein, in the Solicitation and/or attachments. The Proposers at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications, Scope of Services or Scope of Work stated. All references to “Proposer” are also referred to as “Consultant,” “Firm,” “Offeror,” “Contractor,” and “Vendor.” The County is seeking proposals from highly experienced and professional consulting firms for professional engineering services related to the evaluation, design, and replacement of the emergency power generators at the North County Regional Water Treatment Plant (hereinafter, the “NCRWTP”), located at 8005 Vanderbilt Beach Road, the South County Regional Water Treatment Plant (hereinafter, the “SCRWTP”), located at 3851 City Gate Drive, and Carica Pump Station, located at 7200 Goodlette Frank Road . The Consultant shall provide the most cost-effective option design to meet the facility’s emergency standby power supply requirements. The design shall include an opinion of probable construction cost, a recommended implementation plan to ensure emergency power during the generator replacement process, and expectations for the construction schedule. Each Consultant shall demonstrate their qualifications and experience in its proposal and a proposed approach for the detailed services outlined in the Scope of Work. Based on Collier County’s evaluation of the proposals, a Consultant will be selected to enter into an agreement for professional services for this project.
