Sports Tourism Feasibility Study

The City of Sugar Land is requesting Submittals from Respondents who can adequately demonstrate they have the resources, experience and qualifications to provide the City with knowledge of Experience and Qualifications . The purpose of this solicitation is to select firms/teams to work with the City of Sugar Land to provide a sports tourism feasibility study to evaluate the potential of developing sports-related tourism initiatives or events in Sugar Land Texas. The primary purpose is to assess whether a specific sports tourism project is viable, sustainable, and likely to generate positive economic, social, and environmental impacts base don the current and potential offerings within the area. The study should include the following: Market Analysis, Economic Impact Evaluation, Infrastructure and Facility Assessment, Environmental and Social Impact, Legal Regulatory and Risk Assessment, Stakeholder Engagement, and Strategic Recommendations based on findings. The complete study should aide staff in determining if sports-related tourism ventures are practical, financially sound, and align with community and environmental goals and it should help stakeholders make informed decisions about whether to proceed with initiatives or modify approaches to better fit local conditions and opportunities. Only Respondents submitting for this RFQ and meeting qualifications based on the scoring results from the selection committee will be considered for the project. If there are multiple projects, a Respondent firm/team may submit on one or all projects, but an RFQ statement will be required for each project, and combination of RFQ statements for more than one project may be considered non-responsive.
