Transit bus and FD apparatus Brake parts

Bidder to furnish and deliver transit bus and Fire apparatus drum and disk brake systems replacement parts and associated hardware and related materials. Vendor shall pick up brake shoe cores, disassemble, clean, inspect, and reline brake shoes with Marathon KVT lining for low floor transit buses, OEM Meritor and Knorr Bremse disc brake pads for 60’ and 40’ disc brake equipped buses and Fire apparatus. Vendor shall return brake shoes in kit form as outlined in the pricing tables. If a brake shoe needs replacing because it does not conform to OEM specifications, an additional charge for the replacement brake shoe may be incurred. Two brake kits are needed to complete one axle assembly. The items listed in the pricing tables for bid comparison purposes only. The award and subsequent Purchase Order is not to be limited to the brake components listed in the pricing tables. Pricing shall include all associated costs including freight.
