Drone as First Responder Program

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide a Drone as First Responder Program. The City of Newport News is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide comprehensive support for the design, implementation, operation, and long-term sustainment of a Drone as First Responder (DFR) Program. This program is a key public safety initiative designed to enhance the operational effectiveness and response capabilities of both the Newport News Police Department (NNPD) and the Newport News Fire Department (NNFD).
