Description

The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to define the County’s minimum requirements and gain adequate information by which the County may evaluate services offered by contractors or vendors. As used herein, the term contractor or vendor shall mean the contractor, its employees, or agents. The County of Solano, on behalf of the Resource Management Department, hereinafter referred to as the “County,” is soliciting bids to procure 45,000-pounds Highway/Road Hot Applied Asphalt Crack Sealant, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) type III. See attached CALTRANS specifications sheet. THIS SOLICITATION IS FOR PRODUCT ONLY. THE COUNTY’S PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION PERSONNEL WILL APPLY SEALANT TO ROAD SURFACE. This is a Firm-Fixed-Price contract shall be in the form of Purchase Order and all requirement, terms and conditions of this solicitation shall be incorporated in the PO by reference.
