TRANSLATION-8213 - USA (Virginia) - Language Interpretation and Translation Services - Deadline July 8,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide language interpretation and translation services.• Provide telephonic language interpreting services, state–wide on–site language interpreting services and written–document language translation services aimed at minimizing language barriers with the public.• Verbal interpretation, documentary translation and sight translation in a maximum number of languages for both oral and written communications• Services is set out in detail in Paragraphs (B) – Verbal Interpretation Services, (C) – Document Translation Services (Word for Word), – and (D) – Sight Translation Services (Verbal Delivery) of this section• Interpreters shall possess experience and training in the operations of legal proceedings and shall be fluent in both languages involved in the interpretation• The Contractor shall not assume a majority of needed interpretation services will be legal in nature• Language interpretation requests may pertain to general informational exchanges and/or communications regarding construction projects.• The Contractor shall provide translators who possess current professional certification plus a minimum of two years of experience in all phases of language translations• Verbal Telephonic Language Interpretation (VTLI):– The Contractor shall make telephonic interpretation services available to agency twenty–four (24) hours, seven (7) days a week (24/7), including holidays.• The Contractor’s telephone system shall provide the following:i. Quality (clear) telephone connections and a telephone system that minimizes connection time.Ii Conference–calling services and capabilities(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 1, 2026(4) Pre–bid meeting will be held on June 23, 2026
