EXTRA-71497 - USA (Bellingham, Washington) - Annual Confined Space Standby-Rescue Services - Deadline July 15,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide annual confined space standby–rescue services to the government authority located in Bellingham, WA.• Provide trained personnel and equipment to support confined space entries requiring designated rescue capability.– Services may include, but are not limited to:• Standby rescue coverage for planned confined space entries• Emergency response for unplanned confined space incidents• Development of site– or task–specific rescue plans• Atmospheric monitoring support, as required• Coordination with entry supervisors and safety personnel• Provide dedicated standby rescue personnel for each confined space entry• Provide personnel to perform hole watch/attendant duties at each confined space entry point• Maintain continuous rescue readiness during all entry operations• Be capable of performing entry rescue; reliance on non–entry rescue methods alone is not acceptable unless specifically authorized by the City• Provide all necessary rescue and safety equipment• Develop a site– or task–specific rescue plan for each assignment• Coordinate with City safety staff and entry supervisors• Maintain continuous communication with entrants and attendants(2) The contract period will be for three years.
