Santa Cruz is a Tree City USA and our community highly values its urban forest. The City maintains approximately 6,000 inventoried trees in parks, at public facilities, and along city streets, and tens of thousands more trees in open spaces and watershed lands. Additionally, the City provides emergency response to privately maintained trees that impede the public right-of-way. The City seeks a contractor to perform tree pruning and removal work on an on-call basis, including after-hours emergency response 365 days a year. The successful bidder will be a professional and responsive company that is staffed, equipped, and organized to meet the requirements below.
