Dolphin Road Water Main and Sewer Replacement

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, MD (the "WSSC"), is soliciting sealed responses for Dolphin Road Water Main and Sewer Replacement. Responses are to be submitted via WSSC's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/wsscwater PRIOR TO 2 PM on April 16, 2026 . Late responses will not be accepted. The Project is MDE SRF Loan funded . The applicable State Insert titled Requirements and Contract Provisions for the Treatment Works Projects Financed through the Maryland Water Quality Loan Fund and the Maryland Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund, Department of the Environment, State of Maryland, and other requirements are incorporated in the contract documents. The bidders should make note of the special additional requirements imposed through the use of this funding such as but not limited to the use of Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, the use of American Iron and Steel (AIS) products, the use of American made manufactured products and construction materials as mandated by the Build America Buy America Act (BABA), the submission of AIS and BABA material certifications to WSSC Water, and installation of the MDE/ EPA project sign. The EPA final guidance documents for AIS and BABA are incorporated in these contract documents for reference. Description of Project : Replacement of approximately 149 feet of 4-inch DIP water main, relocation of approximately 12 feet and replacement of approximately 37 feet of 6-inch DIP water main, replacement of approximately 2,384 feet and relocation of approximately 219 feet of 8-inch DIP water main, replacement of approximately 1,708 feet and relocation of approximately 523 feet of 10-inch DIP water main, replacement of approximately 329 feet of 10-inch PVC water main with pipe bursting, replacement of approximately 1,612 feet and relocation of approximately 4,924 feet of 12-inch DIP water main. Every 6-inch sewer main will be upgraded to 8-inch by relocation of approximately 834 feet of 8-inch sewer main and same trench replacement of approximately 302 feet of 8-inch sewer main. Installation of 30 fire hydrants and 139 water house connections to serve Good Luck Road, Princess Garden Parkway, Mallery Drive, Cipriano Road, Nightengale Drive, Margo Road, Kingfisher Lane, Woodside Drive, Woodside Court, Chervil Road, Saffron Drive, Dolphin Road, Lanham, Prince George’s County, Maryland .
