Aerial Photography, Survey Control, Aerotriangulation, LiDar Survey and Planimetric and Topographic Mapping

Leon County, Florida is soliciting proposals from firms experienced in the acquisition of stereo aerial photography, airborne Lidar, survey control, and aerotriangulation, for high-accuracy orthoimagery and planimetric and topographic mapping. These materials and services will be used to update the existing Geographic Information System (GIS) land base of the Tallahassee-Leon County GIS Joint Project. Please refer to ATTACHMENT A for Scope of Services, Technical Requirements, and Deliverables. All surveying and mapping work performed shall meet the Standards of Practice set forth in Chapter 5J-17, F.A.C., pursuant to Chapter 472, F.S. and must be signed and sealed by a Professional Surveyor and Mapper licensed to practice in the State of Florida. Note: Please read carefully and verify you have properly responded to each item. An incomplete response may result qualified firm not being considered. To speed and simplify proposal evaluation, and to ensure that each proposal is reviewed consistently, all proposals must follow the format described in this section. Respondents are encouraged to submit clear and complete responses to the RFP. The Joint Project reserves the right to include any part of the selected proposal in the final contract.
