Federal Prevailing Wage (Davis-Bacon) Compliance Consulting

General work description: Washington County’s Office of Community Development (OCD) administers federal grant funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. The use of these funds for construction activities (housing, facilities and infrastructure) trigger federal prevailing wage (Davis-Bacon). The triggers could be related to CDBG, HOME or Public Housing Authority project-based vouchers. Due to staff capacity issues, and three large multifamily projects coming on-line, we are seeking additional assistance in this area. The funds that will support this work could include both county general funds, other local funds as well as Community Development Block Grant funds. If interested proposers can also indicate what they would charge to train Office of Community Development staff (new to federal programs) in Davis-Bacon compliance.
