Daytona Beach International Airport Runway 7L-25R LED Lighting Conversion

The project includes the replacement of the airfield lighting serving Runway 7L-25R. The Contractor Scope of Work includes the construction to replace the existing lights and conductors. The objective of the project is to update the airfield lighting to the latest standards for visibility, reliability and safety. The lights that need to be replaced are old, and have reached their useful life, additionally parts are difficult to obtain. Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) continues to experience significant growth in operations with air carrier operations, general aviation, and pilot training operations. DAB will continue to experience a high level of demand. This increase in demand in conjunction with the mix of aircraft type and operations, enhances the need for these improvements.
