Description
General work description: The Main Beach Public Restroom Renovation Project involves a partial rebuild/renovation of an approximately 800 square foot, existing public restroom at 120 Beach Street. The interior space will include men's and women's restrooms, a chaseway, and a storage room. The existing building will be demolished down to the studs and roof structure. Some framing studs will need to be replaced due to dry rot. A new six inch concrete curb will be added at existing walls and new walls. The project will include installing new interior and exterior finishes; plumbing fixtures, including, but not limited to, toilets, partitions, shower heads, hand dryers, waste bins, urinals, toilet water fountain, and hose bibs; a new standing seam metal roof and dome skylights; electrical outlets, and tile wall murals. The project is being funded through the CALTRAN'S Clean California Local Grant Program. All construction work must be completed prior to May 24, 2024.
