Rose Bowl Stadium Architectural Services

1.1 Request For Proposals The Rose Bowl Operating Company (“RBOC”) is seeking to retain a qualified architectural firm to serve as its Venue Architect, a long-term design partner capable of providing site condition assessments, conceptual planning, pre-design and concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration, together with budget construction estimates throughout, for anticipated improvements, as well as providing presentation materials for visual and oral presentations to RBOC Board. RBOC’s current architectural services agreement expires December 31, 2026; this procurement will establish a successor agreement and position the organization to advance future capital improvements throughout the Rose Bowl campus. The selected firm will be considered to provide architectural services in connection with the various capital improvement projects that the RBOC may undertake, under multiple potential delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Design-Build. At this time the RBOC does not have identified funding for all such projects, but nonetheless must secure such services at this time so as to be able to move quickly when and if funding is secured. Any and all capital improvement projects are subject to the availability of funds and the approval of the RBOC. RBOC anticipates issuing a written Notice to Proceed to the selected firm on or about January 4, 2027, authorizing the firm to begin performance of services while the definitive Services Contract is finalized; any services performed prior to full execution of the definitive Services Contract will be performed at the selected firm's own risk, subject to and governed by the terms of that contract upon execution.
