Renovations to the Concord School Building ( Miccosukee Community Center)

Leon County is seeking the services of a qualified licensed contractor to perform renovations to the Concord School Building located at the Miccosukee Community Center. The general scope of labor will include: Interior - Structural additional and repairs, selective demolition, new exterior deck, new concrete egress stairs, handicapped accessibility upgrades, exterior painting, new windows and doors, new warming kitchen/cabinetry, new interior painted finishes, repair and refinish of existing wood floors and ceilings, new HVAC, electrical, lighting and plumbing systems and fixtures, new security, fire alarm, data and telecom systems and standby electrical generator. Exterior - Selective demolition of existing sidewalks and parking, trees, chain link fences and shed. Construction includes new asphalt and grass parking, handicapped accessibility routes, sidewalks, chain link fences, site signage, new septic system, new mulch walking trails and picnic tables. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract document construction Specifications (Attachment D) and Plans (Attachment E) provided in the Attachment section of the solicitation. The primary contractor or the subcontractor doing the work shall be licensed by the State of Florida as a Licensed General Contractor. It is the intention of the County to award this bid based on total project cost to the lowest responsible and responsive vendor. Certain plans and specifications related to the scope of the proposed work in this solicitation held by an Agency are exempt from disclosure pursuant s.119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the Florida Constitution. Interested contractors will be required to complete a Non-Disclosure Agreement and agree to maintain the exempt nature of the applicable records. Encryption keys and/or passwords to secure documents will be provided to requesting contractors after the submission of the Non-Disclosure Agreement and acceptance by the Leon County Purchasing Division. Non-Disclosure Agreements may be submitted to the Leon County Purchasing Division from the time of Release until the conclusion of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting to interested contractors. At the conclusion of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, only contractors who attended and signed in at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be eligible to receive encryption keys and/or passwords to secure documents.
