– Vendor needs to provide school physician service to the government authority located in Burlington, NJ. – Provide school physician is responsible for providing students with a school health program based on adopted district goals and objectives.– School physician reports directly to the superintendent and works with the school nurse.– Provide for such special examinations as may be indicated for students referred by the child study team.– Review and approve, on an annual basis, examinations by medical home physicians of all students participating in interscholastic athletics prior to the beginning of each season or as legislated by the state.– Provide medical examinations as required, and inoculations as required, to students with no designated medical home.– Provide medical athletic examinations (physicals), prior to athletic seasons, two times per year, in June and December, for student–athletes. examinations are to be conducted at city high school.– Provide physical examinations for all newly hired employees in the district.– Perform pre–season weight certification and periodic skin checks for wrestlers.– Serve as a consultant to the health curriculum committee and other relevant school committees.– Serve as liaison for the district with individual student’s family physicians.– Plan programs for testing the hearing and vision of all students.– Assume responsibility for informing the family physician of any chronic illness which renders it impossible for a student to attend school regularly.
