Precast Concrete Products

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a pool of qualified contractors to provide professional quality precast concrete materials to the City of Seattle Department of Transportation. The estimated anticipated spend is $100,000 a year, with typical projects averaging $10,000. The City anticipates using the products in this contract to fill a variety of high priority projects around the city, including upgrading significant portions of the City's 37-mile protected bike lane network to use concrete barriers. Other products will be used to construct walkways on Seattle’s 850 miles of streets without formal sidewalks, and to add planters to intersections along more than 20 miles of Healthy Streets.
