(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Terrell, TX.– Assist the city through the initial transitional phase and provide ongoing legal representation, serving as the city attorney of record.– Providing general municipal counsel, basic legal services, guidance on special projects and advice to the city council.– Provide advice and assistance regarding government operations, ethics, conflicts of interest, elections, open meetings, public information, city ordinances, state law, personnel matters, property matters, and real estate matters, including zoning, condemnation, and eminent domain.– Interpret federal, state, and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes, and the city charter as they apply to city operations.– Providing legal opinions upon request.– Assist with responses to public information requests pursuant to applicable open records laws.– Litigation services.– Coordination of third–party counsel representing the city in specialty areas for which the firm cannot or does not provide representation.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 31,2026.
