(1) Vendor needs to provide law enforcement criminal background check services to the government authority located in Cleveland, OH. • Provide comprehensive Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) compliant background investigation services for transit police officer candidates and designated non–law enforcement personnel requiring access to CJIS–related systems, facilities, records, or sensitive law enforcement information.• Provider capable of conducting CJIS–compliant pre–employment and personnel background investigations, including criminal history reviews, fingerprint processing, investigative interviews, verification services, and law enforcement suitability assessments.• Professional investigative services to support the hiring, promotion, transfer, and retention processes for positions requiring CJIS compliance and enhanced public safety screening standards.• Verification of Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) information.• Social media and internet presence review consistent with applicable law.• Neighborhood and reference investigations.• Development and review of investigative summaries.• Employment verification and performance history.• Military service verification (if applicable).• Educational verification.• Professional license and certification verification.• Driving history review.• Criminal history reviews.• Social security trace and residency verification.• Financial background review where authorized.• Character reference interviews.• Prior law enforcement agency checks.(2) The contract period will be for two years. (3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 8, 2026.
