San Clemente Blue Rock Perimeter Fencing

Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District is accepting sealed bids for 'Project ID , 'Project Title to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time PDT. San Clemente Blue Rock Open Space Perimeter Fencing FEMA Hazard Mitigation Project Approximately 6,111 linear feet of barbed wire property boundary fencing with gates was damaged or destroyed at the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District (MPRPD) San Clemente Blue Rock Open Space property during the August, 2020 Carmel Fire on Cachagua Rd., 1/2 mile south of Sky Ranch. The San Clemente Blue Rock Open Space Perimeter Fencing project requires the removal and disposal of wildfire-damaged fencing, and the replacement of all wood and painted steel fence posts and painted steel gates with galvanized steel to reduce or eliminate risk/damage to property from potential wildfires. Also, the damaged wood corner bracing will be replaced with steel corner bracing, and wildlife-friendly fencing will be used throughout. This is a FEMA funded project. Failure of the contractor to meet the project completion deadline of February 22, 2022, may cause the District to suffer damages including loss of funding reimbursement from FEMA, for which the contractor shall be responsible in addition to any other damages. Sealed bids will be received via the District’s e-Procurement Portal, ProcureNow.
