Sunland Park Playground Perimeter Fence

Seminole County Leisure Services -Greenways and Natural Lands Division would like to install fencing around the perimeter of the Sunland Park Playground located at 180 Collins Drive, Sanford, FL. 32773. General Requirements The contractor will be responsible for all permitting (when applicable), insurance, labor, materials, supervision, tools, supplies, transportation, coordination, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform all services in its entirety- as specified herein. The contractor shall field verify all dimensions prior to the fabrication or purchase of equipment, materials, and assemblies. The contractor shall have the work completed within 65 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All fence material shall be purchased, delivered, stored, and handled properly to prevent marks or surface defects. Some items may be subject to rejection. Contractor shall provide a one-year warranty for workmanship. Contractor’s staging area/material lay down area is to be designated by a Seminole County Government representative. Public sidewalks shall be kept clear of debris and open for public pedestrian use. Contractor is to provide trash receptacle to be emptied frequently. At the end of each workday the contractor shall clean the affected area and “safe-off” any open holes and/or trenches so as not to pose a safety hazard to the public at large. All other areas affected by work performed shall be returned to pre-construction conditions. Contractor shall verify all measurements prior to ordering any materials. Install approx. 300’ LF x 48” Tall Black commercial grade aluminum picket 3-line flat top fence. The fence should have two (2) entrance openings with no gates. One opening is to be 20’ wide and the other is to be 6’—8’ wide, TBD on site. The contractor shall provide the county with two (2) additional fence panels for future repairs. There is no water on site, the contractor shall provide their own water. Fence Design Intent 1. Terminal Posts 2”x2” x .125 Wall 2. Line Posts 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” x .075 Wall 3. The contractor shall install the fencing according to the fencing manufacturer’s installation instructions. 10. Perform cutting, drilling, and fitting required for installing fencing. 11. Set Fencing accurately in location, alignment and elevation 12. Adjust new fence before anchoring. 13. Excavate foundation hole for posts and fill with concrete. Concrete must be mixed prior to setting in post. 14. Footing shall be 9” diameter and 30”minimum depth. 15. The contractor shall clean up all spoils from post holes and any ground adjustment needed for fence panel installations shall be removed or blended on site and left in the same conditions as the surrounding area. Specifications have been developed using Elite Fence Products, Inc. Commercial grade aluminum fence model Style EFF-20, Black. Approved Equals will be accepted.
