Miccosukee Road Bridge Replacement

Leon County is seeking the services of a qualified contractor to perform demolition and removal of a existing bridge and construction of a two-lane bridge-culvert crossing with two 11-foot travel lane, one 8-foot shoulder and one 112.5-foot shoulder with trail railing, concrete box culverts, concrete headwalls, temporary sheet pile walls, guardrails waterline relocation, minor drainage improvement, and all associated improvements as shown in the Construction Plans (Attachment #1) in the bid documents. Prime Contractor shall possess current and valid FDOT pre-qualifications in the minor Bridge, Drainage, Flexible Paving and Guardrail work class. The pre-qualifications shall be current and valid at the time of the bid submittal. At the conclusion of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, Contractors are required to attend the subsequent on-site meeting and sign attendance for both meetings to be qualified for bidding. Certain specifications and floor plans related to the scope of the proposed work in this solicitation are exempt from disclosure pursuant to Section 119.071, Florida Statutes. Interested contractors will be required to complete a Non-Disclosure Agreement and agree to maintain the exempt nature of the applicable records. Encryption keys and/or passwords to secure documents will be provided to requesting contractors after the submission of the Non-Disclosure Agreement and acceptance by the Leon County Purchasing Division. Non-Disclosure Agreements may be submitted to the Leon County Purchasing Division from the time of Release of the solicitation. At the conclusion of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting, only contractors who attended and signed in at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be eligible to receive encryption keys and/or passwords to secure documents.
