Notice of Unsolicited Proposal Acceptance
Bedford Regional Water Authority
Description
In accordance with the Public Private Educational Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002 ("PPEA"), the Bedford Regional Water Authority ("Authority") has received a proposal for review from Garney Companies, Inc. for the Ivy Creek Interceptor and Route 460 Pump Station. The Ivy Creek Interceptor is a sewer extension from Forest service area to City of Lynchburg to expand public wastewater service through a gravity interceptor. The Route 460 Pump Station is a water booster station designed for construction on East Crest Drive in Bedford, VA to transmit flow between the water service areas. The Authority intends to evaluate the proposal, may negotiate a comprehensive agreement, and will accept for simultaneous consideration any competing proposals that comply with the procedures adopted by the Authority and the provisions of the PPEA. In order to be considered, all proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope/package and received in the Authority office no later than 4:00 p.m. (local prevailing time) on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. More information regarding this proposal and the Authority’s PPEA procedures are available on the Authority’s website at www.brwa.com.
