Description
The Capitol Valley Regional Service Authority for Freeways and Expressways (CVR-SAFE) is a voluntary association of governments including: El Dorado County, Sacramento County, San Joaquin County, Sutter County, Yolo County, and Yuba County. CVR-SAFE seeks to obtain services related to the maintenance of all call boxes in the CVR-SAFE Call Box System, as well as those call boxes that are part of the Glenn County SAFE and suicide prevention call boxes on the Foresthill Bridge in Placer County. Services would include preventive maintenance, repairs, temporary site removals and reinstallation, maintenance of 511 "Roadside Assist" signage, as well as permanent site removal of an as yet unknown number/percentage of existing call box sites.
