EXTRA-70547 - USA (Bangor, Maine) - Day Center Service - Deadline July 1,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide day center service to the government authority located in Bangor, ME.          – To provide a low barrier day space.– The City is allocating funding to address the issue of homelessness, housing instability, and challenges of being newly housed during the day time.– Providing health, mental health, and social services support that support people experiencing housing instability, substance use disorder, and mental health challenges.– The organization must be owners of the building proposed for the Day Center or have a rental agreement that aligns with the time period of the Day Center.– The plan could include transportation services, such as providing bus passes or partnering with another organization that can transport clients.– Experience providing shelter and/or services to individuals/families experiencing homelessness.– Familiarity with the homeless response system and housing providers/resources.– Proven history of fiscal and reporting integrity. The City may require financial statements or other documentation to evidence fiscal integrity, financial health, and organization sustainability.  – Preferences to spaces and organizations that could operationalize and manage a warming shelter in the same space as the Day Center.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than June 5, 2026.
