Community Development Block Grant 2024 Public Services

Pierce County Human Services is soliciting applications for Community Development Block Grant – Public Services Programs. The initial contract period is July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025, which may be extended through June 2026 based on funding and performance. The funds below represent a two-year funding period (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2026). Pierce County has transitioned away from a heavy reliance on transitional housing for families or individuals experiencing homelessness. Existing transitional housing projects that currently receive funding from Pierce County are eligible to apply. A minimum funding request amount of $20,000 is required to apply for funding. Agencies that submit applications with a funding request less than 20,000 will not be considered for funding. It is anticipated that no more than six agencies will be awarded funds.
