Alarm Monitoring Services: Fire and Security/Intrusion
Mesa Public Schools / Purchasing Department
Description
It is the intent of the Mesa Unified School District #4 to seek the services of a contractor with a single, In-Country, full service U.L. or F.M. certified central station to monitor fire alarms (fire, trouble, supervisory), security alarms (intrusion) and possible hallway/elevator phones throughout the District. This bid is for monitoring services only and other than the original programming, does not include any repair or maintenance to alarm equipment. Monitoring is needed twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. All monitoring must be through a single In-Country certified central station. Mesa Schools insists that the monitoring of the fire and security alarms is done in-country and that the Mesa Schools Electronics Department has a contact for any questions arising from our monitored accounts. It is not the intent of the District to limit competition, but to have simple and clear communications with a limited number of contacts to help simplify and expedite the process.
