Ballard Park Improvements Project

Glynn County Recreation and Parks Department provides quality recreational activities, facilities, and services that are safe, fun, and enhance the quality of life for all. With over 4,000 annual participants in youth athletic leagues offered by the Department, the County strives to ensure our athletic facilities exceed the expectations of park patrons. In 2022, County voters approved SPLOST 2022 which included several park improvement projects. The Ballard Park Improvement Project includes the replacement of athletic facility fencing at five baseball/softball fields as well as the area around the playground adjacent to the field. Our goal is to work with a qualified vendor who can complete the project as specified to enhance the facility for future recreation leagues and tournaments.
