Valley Metro Rail, Inc. ("Agency") plans to execute a sole source contract with Railpod, Inc. ("Railpod") for an annual data services subscription and maintenance program for the Agency's rail alignment inspection vehicle. The sole source mechanism is warranted and appropriate due to Railpod being the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Agency's rail inspection vehicle and the only company to possess the needed information, engineering resources, and parts required by the Agency.
