Description
The City of Virginia Beach requires the services of a consultant engineering firm to provide a variety of engineering, architectural, surveying, planning, project management, and other services to support the City's Public Works maintenance operations. The project may involve civil, environmental, structural, and geotehcnical enigneering; planning and analysis; surveying; cost estimating; value enginering; and technical and clerical support. Services will be provided under an annual services contract renewable yearly for up to three years. The successful firm will possess specialized experience in the files of engineering, planning and analysis, and a history of successful performance on similar public works projects. Proximity of the firm to Virginia Beach is an important selection criteria due to the requirement for extensive field investigation. Ability to provide a quick response time on small projects of immediate need will be a significant factor considered by the selection committee.
