EDWARD C. LITTLE WATER RECYCLING FACILITY DISINFECTED TERTIARY PRODUCT PUMP AND VFD REPLACEMENT PROJECT (CIP-10092)

Request for Bids Bids are being accepted by West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin), for the Project Title . The Project contemplated consists of the following work at the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility: • Demolition and removal of AFD-0501-01, AFD-0501-03, and AFD-0501-02, which are out of service. • Installation of three new 650 horsepower, 480-volt ultra-low harmonic variable frequency drive (VFD) units, along with new service entrance rated disconnect switches. • Existing pump motors to remain. Existing circuits in underground duct bank from VFD to associated pump motor to be protected-in-place and reconnected to new VFD. • Installation of new control cables from new VFD to existing control panel ACP-3. • New VFDs will be provided by DISTRICT and installed by Contractor. The Work will be completed in all respects within 110 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
