Description

(1) Vendor needs to provide greenhouse refurbishment service to the government authority located in Utah. – Refurbish the existing greenhouse.– The structure is approximately 30 feet x 48 feet and requires modernization to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable operation for student learning in horticulture, agriculture, and programs.– This is not a full rebuild. The District intends to retain the existing structural frame where feasible and focus on upgrading and replacing deteriorated components, including covering materials, mechanical systems, and interior equipment.• Replace existing greenhouse covering with 8mm clear twin–wall polycarbonate.• Provide and install paneling for roof, front wall, back wall, and side walls.• Repair existing structural components as needed; replacement shall be limited to damaged or non–serviceable elements.• Install a heating system capable of maintaining safe winter operating temperatures.• Provide thermostatic controls and ensure proper venting.• Install an evaporative cooling wall system, including pads and water distribution.• Provide cooling controls integrated with environmental systems.• Replace existing plant tables with greenhouse benches (rolling or fixed).• Provide and install an automated or semi–automated irrigation/watering system.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 7, 2026.
