LEGAL-17204 - USA (Illinois) - External Fiduciary Counsel Services - Deadline July 31,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide external fiduciary counsel services to the government authority located in IL.– Provide legal advice on fiduciary duties/obligations and fiduciary liability matters. – Provide legal advice on public pension board governance matters.– Provide advice on other various legal issues, including, but not limited to, real or potential conflict of interest situations and application and interpretation of law, administrative law, and other relevant state and federal statutes.– Attend in–person, regular meetings (quarterly) and interim/special meetings (as needed) of the Board of Trustees and Board Committees and attend other in–person meetings of the same as may be called from time to time.– Possess knowledge of the legislative process in and be able to assist the board of trustees and staff in responding to proposed legislation that will affect members and annuitants (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 10, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for two years.
