Demolition of Structures
Greenville County / PLANNING AND CODE ENFORCEMENT
Description
Greenville County Code Enforcement is requesting bids for the demolition of the structures on 4 properties located on Minus Street in Greenville, SC. The properties are all owned by the same owner and are currently unsafe for human occupancy. There is also trash, rubbish, debris and uncontrolled growth on each property. The properties will need to be cleared, graded to promote positive drainage and then seeded and strawed. Greenville County Building Safety will issue a no cost demolition permit for each property. The contactor(s) will be responsible for facilitating utility disconnection (power/sewer, etc) and asbestos abatement on the properties that contain asbestos (see attached asbestos surveys) which will include permitting through SC DES. If air monitoring is required, the County will fund. However, the contractor(s) will need to coordinate with S&ME for air monitoring services.
