Walnut Seismic Retrofit RFP

Washington County Facilities is seeking proposals for an upcoming seismic retrofit of our Walnut Street Office Building. The Walnut Street Center consists of an Office building, Auto Repair Shop, and Heavy Equipment Shop. The shop buildings are prefabricated metal buildings that are attached to the main office building. A structural evaluation review carried out by LRS Architects and WDY Structural and Civil Engineers documented deficiencies in the lateral force resisting systems of the structures and provided recommendations of anticipated structural improvements to upgrade the facility. The report is included for detailed information and reference as part of this solicitation. The County seeks written proposals from qualified consultants to provide planning and complete architectural and engineering schematic design services for the seismic retrofit and upgrade of the Walnut Street Center. County will explore the appropriate delivery method from a variety of alternatives (traditional, CMGC, IPD and Design Build among others). Some of the services will include but are not limited to; planning, programming, architectural design and engineering services throughout the duration of the project.
