The Wave Waterpark Filtration System Project

The Work generally consists of procuring and installation of materials and equipment for a fully functional and operational EPD commercial, Hi-Rate, permanent media filtration system: CHILDREN’S POOL: 4” Pipe, (1) EPD (or equal) 13.5 Sq Ft. filter tank including filter media, backwash sight glass valve, 4” rate of flow valve, 4” backwash valve, reverse flow backwash valve with fitting pack, pressure amp pump, and (6) 4” Victaulic coupling assemblies. Filter tanks shall be EPD model 2-0010-020 and Backwash Valves shall be model number 2-0010-171, both manufactured by EPD USA, Inc. in Banning, CA, or equal. See Appendix C for additional details. COMPETITION POOL: 8” Pipe, (5) EPD (or equal) 13.5 Sq Ft. filter tanks including filter media, backwash sight glass valve, 8” rate of flow valve, (5) 4” backwash valves, pressure amp pump, and (20) 4” Victaulic coupling assemblies. Filter tanks shall be EPD model 2-0010-020 and Backwash Valves shall be model number 2-0010-171, both manufactured by EPD USA, Inc. in Banning, CA, or equal. See Appendix C for additional details. RECEIVING POOL: 6” Pipe, (3) EPD (or equal) 13.5 Sq Ft. filter tanks including filter media, backwash sight glass valve, 6” rate of flow valve, (3) 4” backwash valves, pressure amp pump, and (12) 4” Victaulic coupling assemblies.
