Computer Room HVAC Replacement
City of St. Petersburg / Real Estate and Property Management
Description
The City of St. Petersburg is requesting quotes from qualified vendors for the installation of a conventional split style AC system sized for 3.5-tons. The system will be mounted on the floor and would require a new outdoor condenser unit, indoor air handler unit, and associated refrigerant piping. This system will replace the current 5-ton Libert unit, which will have to be uninstalled and disposed of by the vendor. A seperate humidifier system must be installed as well, as conventional split style AC units do not have humidifier capability. A standalone humidifier with a capacity of 5 pounds per hour is recommended for this application. This is a sheltered bid, and for contracts placed in a sheltered market, at least 20 percent of the contracting effort (including the cost of supplies) must be self-performed by the SBE prime contractor
