RFP 26-011 Spanish Computer Software for Educators

Description

The Bridgeton Board of Education is requesting proposals from companies able to provide a computer software program for educators interested in learning Spanish. We are seeking an organization/company able to provide a systematic program designed for educators interested in learning Spanish. The programs must adapt to the different Spanish proficiency levels of teachers. B. SCOPE OF SERVICE 1. The program should promote accelerated Spanish language acquisition and literacy learning. Instruction must be authentic Spanish literacy. 2. The program must be effective in the “four Domains of Language” and emphasize the following components: a. Reading Comprehension b. Interpretation Skills c. Making Connection d. Writing e. Phonemic and Phonological Awareness f. Vocabulary Development g. Text Fluency 3. The program must adapt to meet the needs of educators. 4. The program must provide educators with the opportunity to utilize different devices, such as laptops, iPads and Smartphones. C. QUALIFICATIONS OF RESPONDENTS Each respondent shall provide a detailed narrative demonstrating their knowledge and experience in meeting the needs of educators at the various stages of the language acquisition process, as well as authentic literacy in learning to communicate in Spanish. The respondent shall have demonstrated experience working with school districts providing the type of services requested in this RFP.
