(1) Vendor needs to provide corridor commuted shed study service to the government authority located in Albany, GA.– Transportation planning and engineering consultant to conduct a comprehensive corridor and connectivity assessment.– Data Collection & Analysis:• Collect current traffic volumes, crash history, and land use data for U.S. 82, U.S. 19, and key intersecting corridors and intersections.– Traffic Operations & Safety Evaluation• Evaluate congestion levels, operational performance, and crash trends along U.S. 82, U.S. 19, and select feeder intersections– Connectivity & Mobility Assessment• Identify existing gaps in roadway network connectivity and multimodal access, with a focus on expanding residential and commercial areas.– Functional Classification Review• Review current functional classifications of collectors and arterials per Standards.• Recommend updates such as reclassifications, extensions, or realignments to improve corridor functionality and long–term regional connectivity.– Intersection Safety & Operational Recommendations• Conduct detailed analysis of key intersections along U.S. 82, U.S. 19, and major cross routes, focusing on turning volumes, crash history, and delays.– Implementation Phasing• Prioritize proposed improvements into short–, medium–, and long–term implementation phases.• Develop planning–level cost estimates and align each phase with available funding sources and implementation feasibility.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 6, 2026.(3) A pre–bid conference will be held on July 20, 2026.
