(1) Vendor needs to provide state lobbying services to the government authority located in Charlotte, NC.• Establish and maintain working relationships with the executive and legislative branches of the state government that will enhance the city’s position with respect to financial assistance, regulatory procedures or rules, legislation, budget authorizations and appropriations, and other areas of interest to the City.• Develop and sustain relationships and maintain ongoing communication with the leadership of the majority and minority party in each chamber of the general assembly.• Develop and sustain relationships with the city’s state delegation and assist the delegation in any matter in which the city determines to be in its best interest.• Collaborate with city leadership and the city’s designated government relations staff to review proposed items and prepare a final state legislative agenda.• Actively monitor and proactively submit to city notification and analysis of proposed executive branch rules, regulations, executive orders, or other actions; legislation under consideration by either chamber of the general assembly, and other state developments for the purpose of advising the city of items that may have a bearing on the city’s policies and programs.• Appear on behalf of the city in formal or informal settings in the legislative or executive branch, when requested.(2) A non–mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on July 15, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than July 09, 2026.(4) A contract period will be for one year.
