Psychological Screening Services

Washington County, Oregon is requesting Letters of Intent to Apply from qualified contractors to provide psychological interviewing and backgrounds for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office intends to engage in a Request for Proposals (RFP) process for psychological interviewing and background services based on a minimum number of two responses to the request for Letter of Intent. The qualification to submit a Letter of Intent is that the respondent must certify that the psychologist interviewing applicants holds a Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution; that the psychologist interviewing applicants holds a certification from the American Board of Professional Psychology for Police and Public Safety Psychology (ABPPSP); that services will be able to begin immediately upon execution of a contract. Qualified organizations must submit a Letter of Intent in order to apply through the RFP process. Respondents must be licensed to do business in the State of Oregon. All psychological interviews shall be conducted through video conferencing. Through the RFP process, the County will select one contractor to provide these services.
