RFP 26-0007 Genesis Centre Landscaping and Snow Removal Services

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Calgary Public Library (the “Library”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Landscaping and Snow Removal Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). Calgary Public Library is an international leader in library service innovation and one of North America’s largest public library systems, with 52% of Calgarians as active users. The Library receives 7 million visits each year to 22 locations and has over 815,000 members. To learn more, visit calgarylibrary.ca. The Genesis Centre is a City owned, mixed use community facility, operated through a partnership structure involving the YMCA Calgary, the Calgary Public Library, and the North East Centre of Community Services. The Calgary Public Library, on behalf of its partners is issuing this RFP and will enter into a contract for Landscaping and Snow Removal Services at the Genesis Centre. The Calgary Public Library “The Library” will be certifying landscaping and snow removal services contractors for an initial term of three (3) years. The Library will have the option to renew for an additional one (1) extension of two (2) year term. The Library reserves the right to certify more than one contractor. Pricing is to remain firm for first twelve (12) months. Firms to provide pricing for years two (2) and year three (3), see Section “G”, Rates. The contract will commence October 1st, 2026.
