Continuing Professional Architectural Services

The City of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, is seeking the services of firms interested in providing 'Type of Work for the City of New Smyrna, pursuant to the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act, Florida Statutes 287.055. The services to be provided under this agreement will be provided on an as-needed basis using purchase orders issued by the City. It is anticipated that a minimum of three (3) individuals or firms may be selected for a contract period of 'Contract Length , with the possibility of 'Optional Extensions Time Frame automatic one-year renewals, for a total of five (5) years. The successful proposer(s) will hereinafter be referred to as “Professional Consultant”. During the contract period, the City of New Smyrna Beach shall reserve the right to seek qualifications and/or proposals from other individuals or firms for specialized projects, as deemed to be in the best interest of the City of New Smyrna Beach. The selected firms will be expected to execute the City’s Standard Professional Agreement, provided in the Attachment Section of this document, and provide the required insurance certificates and endorsements under the agreement. If awarded, a contract to provide these services shall be effective on the date it is approved by the City of New Smyrna Beach, City Commission (herein after, the “Commission”), signed by all required parties and filed with the City Clerk. Each individual or firm should become familiar with all the terms contained in the agreement and be willing to execute the agreement before submitting a proposal. There shall be no exceptions to either the scope of services or the terms of the agreement. If made, the recommendation of award will be made to the best overall Professional Consultant(s) whose qualifications proposal is most advantageous to the City, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this RFQ. The City will not use any other factors or criteria in the evaluation of the qualifications received.
