Annual Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering Services

The Alachua County Facilities Management Department is responsible for maintaining the safety, reliability, and operational performance of building systems across County-owned facilities. These systems are critical to supporting daily operations, life safety functions, public services, and regulatory compliance. Timely maintenance, upgrades, and repairs are essential to ensure uninterrupted service and long-term asset preservation. To support these objectives, the County is seeking qualified, licensed, and experienced proposers to provide continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering Services throughout County-owned facilities, on an as-needed basis. Under the resulting contract, the Proposer(s) will furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform the services described in the Scope of Services. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) for professional Architectural and Engineering (A&E) services. Proposer will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, and approach in accordance with applicable Florida statutes and County procurement policies. The resulting contract will be administered in accordance with the pricing and delivery structure identified in this solicitation and will support the County’s commitment to safety, quality workmanship, cost control, and operational continuity.
